Collectors & Buyers FAQ

How can I purchase an original artwork?

Most of my available original paintings can be purchased through my webstore.

I add new works to the shop in batches, so if you have seen a particular painting that you cannot find in the webstore, please get in touch. I can check its availability for you.

Are the paintings framed?

Most of my paintings are sold unframed. Paintings that have recently been exhibited may be sold with a simple black wooden float frame, which can be removed if not wanted.

I aim to make sure each webstore listing clearly states whether a painting is framed. If you are unsure about a particular piece, please feel free to contact me before purchasing.

Can I see more photographs of an artwork?

Yes. If you would like to see additional photographs of a particular painting before purchasing, please get in touch.

I can provide additional images where possible, including closer views of the artwork, to help you get a better sense of the piece before making your decision.

Can I view an artwork in person before purchasing?

As I currently work from my home studio, I am unable to offer individual viewings of artworks before purchase.

I regularly exhibit my work, however, so the piece you are interested in may be available to see in person at an upcoming exhibition. You can sign up to my newsletter for updates about exhibitions and new work, or contact me to ask about a particular painting.

If you are wondering how an artwork would look in your space, I may also be able to create a digital mock-up to give you a better idea of its size and appearance.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. I want my artwork to be accessible, and payment plans may be available for original paintings.

Please use the contact page to let me know which artwork you are interested in, and I can discuss the available options with you. The artwork will be shipped once all agreed payments have been completed.

Can I reserve an artwork?

For paintings being shown in an exhibition, I may be able to reserve a piece for a short period to give you some extra time to decide.

Outside of exhibitions, artworks are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are purchasing through an agreed payment plan, the artwork will be reserved for you while your payments are being completed.

If you have a particular situation you’d like to discuss, please get in touch.

What if the artwork I want has already sold?

If a particular original artwork has already sold, please feel free to get in touch. Prints may be available for selected works, and I can let you know if there are similar or related artworks available.

I also regularly create new paintings, so you can sign up to my newsletter to hear about new work and upcoming exhibitions.

Are prints available?

Yes. I offer prints of selected artworks and regularly add new designs to my shop.

If you are interested in a print of a particular original, please get in touch if you cannot find it in the shop.

Do you accept commissions?

Yes, I accept commissions and would be happy to discuss creating something especially for you.

I work in both oil and acrylic and can paint a range of subjects, including people, animals and other themes. Please take a look through my existing work first to make sure my style is right for your project.

If you have an idea in mind, get in touch through the contact page to discuss your requirements.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. I ship original artworks internationally, up to a maximum size of 60 cm in either width or height.

The customer is responsible for shipping costs. International delivery times can vary considerably depending on the destination, so please contact me if you would like an estimate for a particular country before purchasing.

How is artwork packaged for delivery?

I take great care when packaging paintings for shipping.

Each painting is first wrapped in a protective layer to help protect the surface from moisture. A close-fitting cardboard layer is then added, with folded corners to provide additional protection. The artwork is then wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap and placed inside a sturdy cardboard box ready for shipping.

I’m interested in a particular painting — can I ask you a question before buying?

Absolutely. If there is anything you would like to know about a particular artwork before purchasing, please feel free to get in touch through the contact page.

I am happy to provide additional information or photographs where possible to help you make your decision.
